George Aumoithe, Junior

Soul Sister

Fort Lauderdale, FL

Birthday: March 5th, 1989
Major: Urban Studies
Homegirl: Hillary Clinton

When he joined the Meddies in fall 2007, George Aumoithe brought a number of positive things to the group: enthusiasm, stage presence, the ability to crump, and the option of resurrecting “Georgia.” An actor by instinct, George wields a great deal of charisma on stage, and has been a fierce advocate of taking back the night on behalf of lovers.

Advocacy and activism plays a large role in George’s life outside the Meddies as well. He is an active member of BQSA, and as such he supports Hillary Clinton’s campaign to become America’s first transgendered president.

Ever since he began singing indecipherable Japanese song lyrics on his first night as a member of the group, the Meddies have taken note of his inexplicable obsession with Japanese culture, specifically its fashion. During Winter Tour 2008, in New York, George insisted on stopping into a Japanese clothing store to “browse.” One kimono led to another, and well...suffice it to say that the Meddies strongly suspect that George is turning Japanese. We really think so.
