Meddies In Studio Recording Next CD
After a successful release of a live CD of what the Meddies call their 'standard' repertoire with "An Evening with the Meddiebempsters," the Meddies are hard at work for the rest of the semester on recording their next CD, which will be studio-recorded and will feature the Meddies' more modern repertory elements.
The album is being engineered by Jackson Wilkinson M'05 and will be produced by David Sherman M'76. Sherman is a successful composer and producer in New York City, and his work has recently been seen in multiple Super Bowl advertisements.
Among others, the new album, which has yet to be titled, will feature Outkast's "Hey Ya," Elton John's "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me," the Darkness's "I Believe in a Thing Called Love," and the Killers' "Mr. Brightside."
The album is due for release in May, and will be available on the Meddies' website, at www.meddiebempsters.com.
